Selamat datang ke laman rasmi The Kampung Nerd. Nama aku Najmi Abdul Rahman atau lebih dikenali sebagai The Kampung Nerd di mana aku adalah Game Reviewer daripada Malaysia, di mana aku review pelbagai video game di pelbagai platform dari PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, PC sehinggalah ke Mobile Gaming.

Aku mula kerjaya aku sebagai Game Reviewer sejak 2016 lepas melalui Platform Youtube, dan kemudian bekerjasama dengan pelbagai Penerbit-Penerbit video games seperti PlayStation, Capcom, EA dan sebagainya.

Pada 2017, aku bekerja bersama Amanz Media Sdn Bhd, iaitu portal teknologi di mana aku mengetuai laman Aksiz, iaitu portal Gaming khas bahasa Malaysia. Di sana aku bertanggungjawab dengan pelbagai liputan seperti E3, Tokyo Game Show dan pelbagai acara-acara Gaming. Aku juga berkesempatan untuk menemu bual pelbagai pembangun-pembangun permainan video seperti Shinji Mikami, Hideo Kojima dan juga studio-studio pembangun seperti Santa Monica Studio, Bandai Namco dan sebagainya.

Dengan Lebih dari 100 Game yang aku telah pun review, kini aku kembali fokus channel utama aku untuk kongsi lebih banyak review dan liputan video games di dalam Bahasa Malaysia.

My name is Najmi Abdul Rahman, also known as The Kampung Nerd. The word “Kampung” meant village in Malaysian language since I am from Perlis, Malaysia which is the northern part of the country that consists lots of traditional village with house beside paddy fields.

I started my Youtube channel back in 2016 my bedroom where I uploaded my first video unboxing a video game console where now few years later I have over 37,000 subscribers and over 2.6 million views. My content ranging from video games reviews, news discussion and tutorial on handling video games console, which also garner lots of following in video game scene here in Malaysia.

In 2017, I joined Amanz Media Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian Tech Portal where I spearhead Aksiz, a local video games portal as Gaming Editor and Video Games Journalist and worked with several brands and also been doing local and international coverage such as E3, Tokyo Game Show and several eSports Event.

In 2021, I decided to leave Aksiz and focus on The Kampung Nerd Youtube Channel and delivers more video games content with weekly video and livestreams to share not just my opinion in the industry, but also as a gamer and video games fan here in Malaysia.

Now, I still continues to produce Malay content on all things gaming, from reviews, interviews to gameplay and unboxing including livestreams with my community on my Youtube channel.
